Job Role

We are looking for an experienced Arborist to join our team, to support us with the delivery of consistently high-quality vegetation management services to include climbing, felling, trimming, pruning and stump grinding. You will be expected to carry out work across a national remit and sometimes be required to work overtime including nights, weekends and working away.   

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years experience working as an arborist.
• You must hold all relevant arborist LANTRA, NPTC or  equivalent qualifications – applicants with no tickets can not be considered. 
• Must hold a UK driving license 
• Trailer experience is desirable 
• CSCS qualification desirable
• You will be self-motivated with a proactive approach and have experience of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Problem-solving, communication and good interpersonal skills are a key requirements for this role
• You will be able to work as part of a team under the direction of a site supervisor to provide a safe and professional service to the customer
• A general understanding of plant machinery and machine maintenance is desirable
• You will be adaptable and flexible in approach to workload demands including being willing to work away when required
• Good communication and people skills
•  All applicants must be based near our Heckmondwike depot, as the workday begins and ends at this location.
